"The Oyster Bar" is part of my Emerald Collection. The photo was taken, and edited, in 2020 at Grand Central Station in New York City, NY. The wall plaques guide travelers to the dining concourse which was closed during the time I visited because of the pandemic.
When I was younger, my family was never able to take vacations. It wasn't until 2012 that I took my first trip on my own but I wanted to make sure that I was always able to remember where I went and what I saw. I grew up in a very small town in Upstate New York, with a fantasy about living in NYC someday. While I still have to realize that dream, I did work there and took several vacations there. In the meantime, I have lived in NJ, Atlanta, and now San Francisco. In Georgia, I was lucky enough to have a job that allowed me to travel even more. Let's just say I made up for lost time and made sure that my camera was always by my side. So now it is time for me to share those photos and adventures. Please enjoy.
The print is on high quality photo paper, which is then laminated and adhered to a flat canvas board.
